PROJECT BLUE BOOK takes place during the Cold War and Atomic Era. A college professor was recruited by the US Air Force to investigate UFO sitings around the country. When some instances can not be explained scientifically, the professor (Dr. J. Allen Hynek) believes there is a conspiracy by the government, to cover them up. It's based on UFO theories of the time and true historic events.
After a little research I was ready to help The History Channel come up with some strong Key Art Concepts. I'm definitely proud of the variety of styles in these ideas. I think they are dynamic and speak well to the show and how the network wanted to represent it. These are initial sketches for the Key Art. They are not meant to be taken as final and all of the photography is placeholder.
